Misirlou explores how we deal with age, the inability of understanding of the elderly and the feeling of being left behind.

It tells the story of the touching and explosive relationship between an old circus artist and a young fellow who dreams of flying higher. Between generational conflict, admiration and rivalry, the duo search for each other, challenge each other, carry each other - sometimes crookedly - in a dance of fragile trust and self-confident imbalance.

A moment between nostalgia and audacity, in which one laughs, shudders and sometimes falls.

An almost five metre high Korean Cradle becomes the setting for an aerial duel. Misirlou mixes slapstick, juggling and rock'n'roll absurdity into the fairground atmosphere with dizzying precision and caustic humour.
